This year, the Town of Tyngsborough will have a Memorial Day event at the Old Town Hall in lieu of our traditional parade. This family event will highlight Memorial Day with family fun and activities.

At 9:00 A.M., rain or shine on Memorial Day morning, a motorcade will depart from the Old Town Hall visiting all of the Town’s cemeteries to salute the fallen. This is a very solemn and moving tradition. Space is limited so please car-pool if you are able to do so.

At 11:00 A.M., a ceremony will begin at Old Town Hall on Kendall Road.

After the ceremony, from 11:30 to 1:30, free food and refreshments will be available to the public. The Tyngsborough American Legion will have adult beverages available for purchase. We will have music, Patriotic Tie Dye t-shirt making for the kids (limited supply available, so feel free to bring your white tee), and other fun activities for kids.

Free parking is available at the Winslow School, Town Hall at 25 Bryant Lane, and 216 Meeting House 216 Middlesex Road.

If it rains and we need to move the ceremony to the inside of Old Town Hall, food and refreshments will be on the lower level, and activities will be on the main floor.
