We are expecting dangerously cold temperatures over night tonight. Residents should be prepared & limit time outside:
Bring your pets (including outdoor cats) inside. Limit their outdoor exposure overnight and into the morning.
If you have to travel, ensure your car’s gas tank is full and bring extra blankets.
Check on your neighbors, especially the elderly & otherwise vulnerable.
Never use gas stoves or ovens to heat your home.
The Tyngsborough Fire Department is prepared to activate an emergency warming shelter should power outages become a problem.
Call 9-1-1 if you notice someone outside who appears to be disoriented or otherwise in distress.
