We are expecting dangerously cold 🥶temperatures over night tonight. Residents should be prepared & limit time outside:
â—¾ Bring your pets (including outdoor cats) inside. Limit their outdoor exposure overnight and into the morning.
â—¾ If you have to travel, ensure your car’s gas tank is full and bring extra blankets.
â—¾ Check on your neighbors, especially the elderly & otherwise vulnerable.
🚫 Never use gas stoves or ovens to heat your home.
The Tyngsborough Fire Department is prepared to activate an emergency warming shelter should power outages become a problem.
Call 📞 9-1-1 if you notice someone outside who appears to be disoriented or otherwise in distress.
