Today, the Commission on Disability launches a two-week public comment period on the draft Self-Evaluation & Transition Plan. The Self-Evaluation & Transition Plan is a comprehensive report examining the accessibility of municipal programs, policies, and facilities. It also provides detailed cost estimates to address barriers to accessibility. This report is meant to help identify areas for improvement, provide remedies for barriers, and assist with long range budgeting and capital planning efforts. A full copy of the report can be found here: Draft Transition Plan & Self Evaluation 2.19.21.pdf

If reported favorably by the Commission, the Board of Selectmen will consider formally adopting the report at their meeting at 6:00 PM on March 8.
