The position of Tree Warden is established by Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 87. The Tree Warden in a city or town is responsible for the care and control of all public trees. The Tree Warden is responsible for assessing the condition of public trees and responding to complaints relative to them. Tyngsborough’s Tree Warden is Doug Latulippe, who serves in an elected capacity. He can assist residents with concerns relative to trees on Town property or along the roads of Tyngsborough.
