As a part of the on-going MassWorks project that saw the construction of a new public road called "Commerce Drive", residents are advised that effective immediately access to the DPW Yard at 89 Kendall Road which includes the recycling center is now through Commerce Drive and no longer through the original driveway on Kendall Road.
Commerce Drive is the new road constructed between the DPW yard and the MassDOT park and ride. To enter the DPW yard, simply turn onto Commerce Drive and take the right hand turn into the DPW Yard.
This is a public way and access is available now. There are no changes to the flow of traffic within the DPW yard except that all traffic must also exit through Commerce Drive.
Residents are advised that this remains an active construction site and should use caution navigating the area.
