The Town of Tyngsborough, MA seeks qualified applicants for the 35 hour per week position of Assistant Treasurer. This position is appointed by the BOS and is included in the town’s SEIU Clerical Union. The Assistant Treasurer will work under the general direction of the Town Treasurer. Responsibilities include receiving cash receipts from all departments, maintaining daily cashbook and entering receipts. The Assistant Treasurer will perform reconciliation of bank statements for cash receipts each month. The Assistant Treasurer also prepares the Town’s biweekly Payroll and Payroll Breakdown for reconciliation and warrant processing.
