Trash & Recycling Pickup Moves to Mondays Starting July 1

Starting Monday, July 1st, new rules will go in effect for residential trash and recycling pick up in Town.

  • Trash and bi-weekly recycling pickup will be picked up on Mondays instead of Thursdays.
  • Trash toter lids must be fully closed for pickup. If you have too much trash for the lid to close fully, overflow stickers are available for purchase at the Board of Health office Mondays & Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Curb side Recycling will now be single stream. This means that any accepted recyclables can be placed in any designated recycling container, there is no need to have separate bins for paper/cardboard and plastic/glass/metal.

Trash & Recycling will be picked up on Thursday, June 27th (“B” Streets for Recycling) and again on Monday, July 1 st (“A” Streets for Recycling). Not sure of which week is your recycling week? [Click Here]
