TYNGSBOROUGH OVERFLOW TRASH STICKERS – NOW AVAILABLE AT THE TOWN LIBRARY!
HOW TO BUY
Stickers will be for sale at the Tyngsborough Library during their normal business hours at times when the Health Office is closed.
A resident wishing to purchase a sticker during those hours when the Health Office is also open (Mon-Wed 8:30 am – 3:00 pm) will be directed to that office for service.
Overflow Trash Stickers will be for sale at the Tyngsborough Library during the following days and hours:
- Monday: 3 pm – 8 pm
- Tuesday: 3 pm – 5 pm
- Wednesday: 3 pm – 8 pm
- Thursday: 9 am – 5 pm
- Saturday: 9 am – 2 pm
Overflow Trash Stickers cost $5 each; correct change is appreciated. Cash or checks are accepted; please make checks payable to “Town of Tyngsborough”.
Bulky Item Stickers (for items such as furniture, mattresses, etc) are NOT available from the Library for purchase. Bulky Item Stickers and extra trash bag stickers can be purchased at the Board of Health during their office hours from Monday to Wednesday, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Contact the Health Office directly 978 649-2300 x118 with questions or concerns.
HOW TO USE
Stickers are intended for occasional use during those times when, after recycling and composting, residents still have too much trash to fit in the red 64-gallon trash toter with the lid completely closed.
Residents may place one Overflow Sticker per bag. Stickered bags should be left out on trash day (usually Mondays; check the Recycling Calendar) next to the red trash toter with the sticker clearly visible. Please do not place stickered bags inside the red trash toter or with your recycling materials.
