The Tyngsborough Sewer Design & Construction Committee (SDCC), in conjunction with the Tyngsborough Sewer Commission, would like to notify you of a Public Outreach Meeting to be held Wednesday, June 27th at 6:30pm at Tyngsborough Town Hall, in the Community Room.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss Phase I East, Sunset Park aka Rolling Acres (Brookside Road, Christine Avenue, Gail Avenue, Gloria Avenue, Robert Road, Rock Road, and Robins Road) which is one of several phases outlined in the Tyngsborough Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan. The potential impact of providing sewer to Phase I East, which includes Sunset Park will be discussed, as well as two basic alternatives of construction methods. In addition, discussion will include the costs associated with these methods and how these costs could be financed (Capital Cost Recovery).
Among the attendees will be representatives from the Board of Selectmen, Finance Committee, Planning Board, as well as from Woodard & Curran, engineering consultants for the Sewer Commission.
The purpose of the SDCC is to study various areas for potential sewer connection, the impact that connection could have to the Town and to make recommendations to the Sewer Commission, Board of Selectmen, and Finance Committee. The impacts can be related to the potential development of vacant parcels, redevelopment of exiting parcels, costs of construction, methods of Capital Cost Recovery, and impact to the tax payers of the Town of Tyngsborough.
Your input is needed and greatly appreciated. This is an excellent opportunity for you to communicate directly with the SDCC to help facilitate a successful sewer expansion proposal.
We look forward to seeing you on June 27th!
