The Board of Selectmen may on meet in closed session, referred to as “Executive Session”, for reasons allowed under Massachusetts General Law.

The Massachusetts Open Meeting Law also provides that minutes of Executive Session meetings may be withheld until the purpose of the Executive Session has been served. Upon that service, the minutes must be released unless subject to restriction by law.
