About The Historical Commission:

The Commission meets at the Littlefield Library Museum building on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. The meetings are posted at the Town Clerk’s Office.

The Littlefield Library Museum building has seen some changes a handicap ramp and a handicap bathroom has been added, the water is connected and the Commission now has their office at 252 Middlesex Road.

This year the Historical Commission has been busy preparing for the renovation of the “ Old Town Hall” building. The RFP was reviewed and the project was awarded to Court Street Architects to prepare the architectural design. The funds have been appropriated through the Historical Reserve Account of the Community Preservation Act. The Commission is making a presentation to the Community Preservation Commission and the Board of Selectmen asking for their support for the renovations.

As part of the Town Bicentennial celebration, the Commission is always looking for historical artifacts, pictures and/or stories.
