Meals on Wheels Program Available

If you are a senior age 60 or over, homebound, and unable to cook your own meals at home, you may be eligible for the Meals on Wheels program provided by the Merrimack Valley Nutrition Program. To find out more about this program and eligibility, please contact the Tyngsborough Council on Aging at 978-649-9211.

Meals on Wheels Delivery Person Needed

The Council on Aging is looking for volunteers who will deliver Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors in Tyngsborough one or more days a week.    This is under the Merrimack Valley Nutrition Program, which is also a program of Elder Services.  There is a small stipend to cover the cost of gas.  If interested, come to the Department of Elder Services, 180 Lakeview Avenue, Tyngsborough, MA to apply or call Barbara Roche at 978-649-9211 or broche@tyngsboroughma.gov
