Shurburne Avenue Detour due to City of Lowell Paving

Today the City of Lowell is paving Varnum Avenue which connects with Sherburne Avenue at the Tyngsborough/Lowell line. Beginning at 4 pm today, Friday, November 14th, all vehicles (other than local traffic) travelling on Sherburne Avenue heading into Lowell will be detoured down Island Road to Pawtucket Boulevard. Work is expected to begin at 4 pm and anticipated to to take 12-16 hours.
