Candidate’s Night – Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 6pm

We welcome all candidates running in this year’s annual town election to appear at Candidate’s Night on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 6pm. The event will be held in the Community Room in Town Hall (25 Bryants Ln), and is open to the public. The event will appear live on Comcast channel 8 and Verizon channel 29, and will be available for on-demand viewing the following day.

2017 Yard Waste Cleanup Days will be Friday, May 12 and Friday, May 26

Place all yard waste in open barrels or paper yard waste bags. Twigs and sticks (less than 4 inches in diameter) may be tied and bundled. Yard waste in plastic bags will not be collected. Click here to view the flyer.

Perambulation notice: Town borders are being surveyed (April 2017)

Massachusetts General Law (Chapter 42, Section 2) requires that the borders of a town be walked every 5 years by at least 2 of the Selectmen or their designees. Beginning tomorrow, this process will be underway in Tyngsborough, so you may see town officials and employees renewing the markers along the town’s borders. Phase 2 Sewer Project – Information Session – Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 7pm

The Sewer Commission is holding another information session on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 7pm at the Old Town Hall (10 Kendall Rd, Tyngsborough, MA). This meeting is open to all town residents and those interested in the project. A vote on this project will be held at the May 16, 2017 Annual Town Meeting.

Online Permitting Software Now Available – March 2017

The Town of Tyngsborough is pleased to announce you can now apply for, submit payment and track Inspectional permits online. At this time, Building, Electrical, Gas, Plumbing, and Sign Permits are available. Visit the Building Department page for more information or visit our Online Permitting Center to start a permit!
